This website is purely informational. We use no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, no social media plugins and no contact form. Fonts are served locally; no content is loaded from third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare Pages”) and delivered via the Cloudflare network (content delivery network). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (e.g. defending against attacks).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses. If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your request) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in responding to enquiries). Our mailbox is provided by Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Workspace), with whom a data processing agreement is in place. Data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under German commercial and tax law) apply.
The “Send email with …” button lets you open your own mail app, Outlook or Gmail. The respective provider’s site is only opened after your click; its privacy policy then applies.
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
